Marketing to Rural India

Consider this

India has a population of more than one billion. Approx. 70% of people live in rural area. An average Indian living in a village is considered as a “rural man”.

Organization world-wide and not just in India have been making an effort to promote their products/services to Rural Indians.

Perhaps, that’s the reason why we see so many advertisements with “rural backdrop in the focus”. That’s the reason why “Thanda Matlab Coca-Cola” campaign worked really well Coca-Cola.
